The lobby is beautiful they offered me an early check-in for $50. Went into the hotel room it wasn’t anything spectacular but I will say it’s near all the sightseeing spots which was so convenient

Loved my week-long stay in King Supreme room. I didn't ask for any room clean during my stay because I didn't need it. Only negatives—No coffee maker or microwave in room. I understand they want us to buy food and coffee from the snack/breakfast cafe or the Mexican restaurant. However, one can only eat Mexican food so many times in 1 week. There's a sign stating No Outside Food Allowed at the check-in desk. I had leftovers from eating out with no way of reheating it...had to throw away. Ice machine was broken so I had to go to the bar or cafe for ice...just a small inconvenience. Overall, I totally would and have recommended The Generator to all my friends going to DC. Forgot to add. I had to pay more money for resort fees upon check-in...just a reminder these fees aren't usually included in the Hopper price.

The parking was a little hectic but we aren’t from a huge city so it’s understandable why we got confused 😂 but the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than anticipated and very nice! They had so many activities to do at the hotel for people of all ages, which as a mom of 2 toddlers, was extremely important. Will definitely be coming back!

The hotel is very well located just off Dupont Circle. It’s well designed - apparently updated and decorated 10 years ago or so. Staff were friendly and helpful. One amenity that we used and appreciated were cute cruiser bicycles. No extra fee.

Staff was very accommodating and the hotel restaurant has really good food. Even though I did complain about few things price wise, it is what it is and you definitely get what you pay for. I'd go back.

I had such a lovely experience staying at Sonder during my trip to Washington DC! The room was absolutely beautiful — clean, modern, and super comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everything I needed was right there. There was a bit of a hiccup when I first arrived: I didn’t receive the entry code to access the property, and since I had booked through Hopper, it was a bit of a challenge to get help. I spent nearly two hours on the phone, trying to get things sorted because no one could find my reservation in the system. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end — and once I was in, the experience was fantastic. A special shoutout to Hasan (I hope I’m spelling that right!) who was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. He really made me feel welcome! Despite the initial issue, I’d definitely recommend Sonder — especially if you're traveling solo. It's a great place to stay in DC, and I’d absolutely book again!
