The room was very comfortable and clean. The entire hotel was very clean and well-maintained. It was also very quiet, and the water and coffee stations were great amenities. There were full-size toiletries in the bathroom and a guest closet in the hall with lots of travel size toiletries, mending kits, combs, and shower caps. We stayed on the 22nd floor, and the water pressure was excellent. Our room service was wonderful, and the housekeepers took extra time to spread out the blankets we'd brought from home nicely on our beds. The location was excellent--very easy access to the subway and walking distance to Grand Central, 5th Ave., and Bryant Park. There was always someone at the front desk, even when we got back to the hotel at 1 am, which made it feel very welcoming and safe. The elevators require room keys, which is another nice security feature. When we checked out, it was easy to hail a cab, as there are always many traveling on Lexington and 45th. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was great! Friendly staff, inviting foyer, clean hallways, elevators, and room. Not run-down like others I’ve seen. I will definitely be back!

The room was a great size for a king bed, especially for New York City. It had a nice walkway and included a convenient kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was surprisingly large, featuring a spacious walk-in shower with strong water pressure and consistently hot water. Although our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, the staff kindly held our bags and texted us as soon as it was available. We also appreciated the complimentary water bottles in the room. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed a visit to the hotel bar as well. The location was excellent—there were three coffee shops right next door and a Walgreens just a block away, making everything easily accessible. Also loved the fresh lemon water in the lobby at all times.

I liked that everything was clean and the bathrooms were updated. Great selection for TV stations. Front desk staff were always extremely pleasant and helpful.

Overall the reviews were bad when I read up on the place. I was nervous but surprised how clean, customer friendly and helpful the staff was. Our room wasn’t ready early enough for an early check-in because of the season but they held our luggage while we checked out the city. We got up to the room and were surprised that it was small but perfect and cozy for us two plus the price was the lowest in the area. I’d definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect - a walk to anywhere a visitor to New York would want to see. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms very comfortable. I had everything needed at my fingertips. The attendants were very helpful. Definitely will stay there next time I visit.
