I liked the modern renovated style, and the general condition of the hotel. It felt clean. Love the water self-serve stations on each floor, along with the customer essentials pantries next to them. The location is great - walking distance to several restaurants and bars. I found it interesting a previous review stated the hotel is not suited for leisure travelers, but that's pretty much all I saw when there. Lots of Europeans touring! The place is quiet and safe, and it’s a great deal for the price!

We upgraded to a suite and it was just the right amount of space for our large group to meet up and spend time together. Jon, the person at the front desk, was also incredible! He was so helpful! He was able to put me and my party on the same floor. And when my room wasn’t as big as I liked, he made sure to help me find a suite for an upgrade. Great staff, definitely!

It was central to the parts of San Francisco we wanted to visit. It was right on a cable car stop and we loved being able to hop right on one to take down to the wharf. The hotel was clean and there was always a staff member there to welcome us. The room was very small but for the price it was perfect.

Room was clean and comfortable! Perfect stay for one night. In a great location and was easy to get a fairly cheap Uber to Pier 39. Front desk personnel were friendly and inviting!

It was exactly what you'd expect for an affordable room. The staff was very friendly, the pool area was very nice, and the room was comfortable and suitable. It could have been a bit cleaner - in that the sheets and towels are clearly a bit older and dingy, but they weren't dirty at all. Older building, everything could use a face lift of sorts, but it's comfortable, safe, and that pre war feel is nostalgic in my mind. Would come back!

The location was great. Not far to walk to some restaurants, bars, coffee. The room was more spacious than we expected - we also loved the decor and the atmosphere. Having our own fireplace made it so cozy. The wine hour was a great chance to meet other travelers! The hotel staff was so welcoming and friendly. Everything was clean and neat. What a great place to stay!
