Everything from check-in to when I left for checkout and even after was perfect. I arrived 6 hours early for check-in; however, the manager Nicolo was super kind and able to provide me with a room at check-in. I had many questions, being that this was my first trip to Rome, and I felt very welcome. He answered all of them, as well as Lorenzo, the lady who worked the late evening shift (whose name escapes me but was also very kind), the gentleman working on the evening of April 24th (Matilde, I believe?), and Leonardo. The staff just go above and beyond to be as helpful as possible, and for me, that set the first impression and tone for my trip. As soon as I opened the door to my room, I was greeted with the smell of soap and a very clean room, very welcoming. Amenities in the room were helpful, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a heated marble tile floor. The decor was pleasant with the blue and yellow tulip theme. My room was perfect for a solo traveler, as I didn't spend much time in the room. Breakfast was delicious with fresh charcuterie, pastries, and fruit daily. Fresh coffee and juices are also provided. Most of the major attractions (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore) are within a 5-20 minute walk of the hotel (Vatican City is a 20m ride by train, Fiumicino airport is 30m by train). Roma Termini is 5m just across the street. Coming back to Rome, I would easily stay here again - highly recommend it!
