I liked the modern renovated style, and the general condition of the hotel. It felt clean. Love the water self-serve stations on each floor, along with the customer essentials pantries next to them. The location is great - walking distance to several restaurants and bars. I found it interesting a previous review stated the hotel is not suited for leisure travelers, but that's pretty much all I saw when there. Lots of Europeans touring! The place is quiet and safe, and it’s a great deal for the price!

I absolutely love the treatment of each staff I came in contact with, beginning with the valet to the exceptional gentleman at the front desk, Freszat. He was personable and an absolute gentleman. The gentleman in the restaurant, Mr. Frantz, was wonderful. I will definitely come back. I loved the fact that there was a robe and slippers; they thought of everything. My husband and I were very impressed and happy celebrating our anniversary.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. I like the fact that we had a little pullout pad table and chairs plus a chair at the desk.

Location was amazing - the hotel is right next to Chinatown and a short walk to Union Square. The hotel was clean, the staff was kind, and the amenities were better than most other major chain hotels I have been to. The staff was so accommodating when my flight was delayed and I got in past midnight - they assured me that check-in was available and would make a note for my arrival. I was surprised that so many comments complained about the size of the rooms, but they were clean and standard size in comparison to most stays. From being greeted with fortune cookies to complimentary happy hour, my stay was nothing short of amazing. If I come back, I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location downtown steps from BART/Muni station providing excellent access to SFO and the entire Bay area. Room was clean and well kept. Mattress was good. Plenty (too many!) pillows. Glad I opted for the deluxe room, but shared bathroom option is great for budget/solo travelers and in-hall restrooms and shower room are kept very clean and lock safely. Rooms and hallways are clean. Staff is helpful and courteous but demure. Morning free coffee (but no snacks)

Everything was easy and everyone was polite. Only thing that could’ve been better was the cast wouldn’t work on my iPhone 15 for some reason
